I'm new at hydraulics and hope you'll be able to help me understand the basics.
I have learned about hydraulic presses. I understand the principle and the Pascal's law.
Since pressure is the same: p1 = p2 this means A1*F1 = A2*F2.
Now I have one question. What if half of the press is filled with one type of oil and other half is filled with other type of oil (different densities). Since oil is not compressible, I think that the formula will still be valid A1*F1 = A2*F2. Am I right here, or density of oil affect this in any way?

First F=P*A. Your formula is wrong.
The difference oil type will not make any difference. F1/A1=F2/P2=P
BUT, oils do compress and they may compress differently. They compress about 0.5 for every 1000 psi and often more.
So if one side compresses 0.5% per 1000 psi and the other side compress 0.6% for every 1000 psi a 3000 psi press will have 0.3 % at 3000 psi and that is about 0.072 inches. Not much about 1/14 of an inch.

I don't think I would sweat it, but you did ask if anything would affect it.
